“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.”
Sing it, dance it, let the praise ring! Jesus christ, our glorious father, who hell could not beat has won the victory. We need not be in despair, we need not feel hopeless, and we need not surrender to guilt. It’s by God’s grace that we are overcomers, that we have new life in Him, that we can come straight to Him with our worries, fears, frustrations, and grief. God’s word tells us, “by His stripes we are healed.”
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
Healing does not only come to the physical body in sickness, but is healing of the heart, mind, emotions, and needs as well. It is easy to forget that He is God, that through the blood of His son, the only true living God, that He can and will care for every part of us. We are His children, no loving father turns His back on His child. God’s word also tells us we have the ability to come to Him, to be a part of Him, it tells us how much He loves us, if only we take on His holy name, Jesus Christ, through the spiritual death, by baptizm, and go on in life, living with and like His spirit dwells inside of us.
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
Jesus longs for our happiness, He longs to give us the desires of our hearts, if only we ask and ask not amiss.
“2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.“
A heart seeking truly after God and His righteousness seeks; honesty, for God’s will, and for their desires to glorify our Lord. Be not discouraged
Galatians 6:9 – And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Isaiah 41:10 – Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Romans 15:13 – Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Scripture upon scripture He tells us He is with us, He tells us not to fear. God’s got this, He has you and all your troubles. So rejoice! Praise Him in the dance, praise Him in the trial, praise Him in the struggle, and praise Him for the request yet to be answered. It’s a grain the size of a mustard seed that can move a mountain, so speak to the mountain with your praise, let God lift all your heaviness off of you, and rejoice that you don’t have to do any of this alone, cause God is the almighty.
