It’s Father’s Day, Thanks For Being You!

Some may say you should have it all right. Some may think if you are not perfect you are not qualified to be a father. Some are better than others as some are worse. What is a dad? A dad is not someone who produced seed, a dad is not someone who crumbles under the pressure. A dad is not someone who neglets his child for his own self. A dad is someone who is there for the scraped knee. A dad is the man who hates his job , but continues working for the sake of providing for his child(ren). A dad is someone who, when he is tired out from the day, still has time for bedtime stories, lots of hugs, kisses, and makes time to play sports, or even that poor dad with little girls who gets sucked into playing barbies or baby dolls. A dad is someone who is tired, but keeps on a smile to hide the rough day that has drained him physically and spiritually. A dad is; the hero, the monster killer, the dragon slayer, and the 12 am, “I’m thirsty call” (for some). So, to all you men out there, the tough, ready to shine for my kids kind of dad, thank you! Thank you for being the one who stood for the sake of Your child, thank you for not turning your back on the little ones, and thank you for teaching them how a man should behave and face responsibilities. You are amazing and treasured. Never change!

Happy Father’s Day💙💜

I'm a 34 year old with 3 wonderful kids, an amazing husband that ended up rescuing me from who i thought was trying to rescue me. i am the woman that makes mistakes but learns from them. i am not who i was a little over a year ago. last year i was easily manipulated, being made to feel guilty, and struck down by people i trusted. this year i have learned about myself and still learning...how to be strong. how to protect myself and never be a victim again.
